StaffSarah, Veterinary Technician

Sarah has worked at Fieldstone Animal Hospital since June of 2010. She earned her associate’s degree in Early Childhood Education and her bachelor’s degree in Therapeutic Recreation.

“I enjoy working at Fieldstone Animal Hospital because Dr. Sawyer cares greatly for her pet parents, their furry family members, and her employees,” she remarks.

Having worked eight years in the animal field, Sarah's experience is rich and diverse. She has held many different positions over the years including Animal Care Assistant at Tufts-Cummings Veterinary Hospital’s ICU (2005-2006); Boarding Manager at Gardner Animal Care Center (2006-2008); Winchendon’s Animal Control Officer (2009-2012) and Animal Health Inspector (2009-2013).

Sarah has also been actively involved with animal rescue for the past 12 years and is the founder and director of “A Better Tomorrow” Shelter for Cats, Inc. (Winchendon, MA).

When she is not working, she runs the cat shelter, kayaks with her husband, cares for her many adopted and special needs pets, and participates in Parkour training.

Addie, Veterinary Technician, Receptionist

As a receptionist and veterinary technician, Addie's responsibilities include assisting our veterinarians, greeting clients, checking in patients and answering phones. When she's not at work, she enjoys spending time with her family, hiking, canoeing, working on her farm and generally enjoying the outdoors.

Beth, Veterinary Technician

Beth joined the team at Fieldstone Animal Hospital in February of 2016. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Biology and Associate's degrees in Liberal Arts and Science and Veterinary Technology. Beth has 7 years of experience in the animal care field.

"I enjoy working at Fieldstone Animal Hospital because I'm constantly learning new things. All my coworkers are supportive and truly care for the patients."

At home, Beth has a black lab named Notchie and three cats, Brutus, Squinty and Gizmo. She enjoys dining out, going to the movies, swimming, hiking and spending time with her husband, Patrick.

Steph, Veterinary Technician

Steph is a certified veterinary technician with over 15 years of experience in the field. While working for a large animal rescue in her early 20's she discovered her love of veterinary medicine and has been in the field ever since.

When she's not helping to keep pets healthy she spends time on her small farm here in Rindge raising Nigerian dwarf goats with her husband and two sons.

Amanda, Lead Receptionist

Amanda studied equine business management at Post University. She has six years of experience in the animal care industry working in boarding facilities for both horses and dogs. She is currently the lead receptionist at Fieldstone Animal Hospital.

Amanda enjoys Fieldstone's atmosphere and the personal attention the doctors give each client. She says "providing clients with knowledge and the keys to success for their pets" is why she started working in the veterinary field.

At home Amanda has a 6-year-old Quarter Horse/Appaloosa named Acheron and an African Pygmy Hedgehog named Sir Beef Wellington.
